Our easy and simple take on the classic Neapolitan pasta dish - puttanesca pasta; a flavorful dish made with tomatoes, olives, capers, and lots of basil, which you can now make in one single pan!

- Non-Stick Pan
Prepare the ingredients
- Thinly slice the garlic cloves.
- Finely dice the tomatoes into 1/4″ cubes
- Roughly slice the basil leaves too.
- Grate the parmesan, set aside
Start the sauce
- Set a frying pan on medium-low heat, and add the extra virgin olive oil to it.
- Add the sliced garlic and saute until fragrant.
- Next, add the capers and olives, saute again for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes, saute for 2 minutes. Season generously with black pepper. Cover the pan and let cook for 10-15 minutes.
Cook the pasta
- Once the tomatoes are cooked, add 400 ml (for one serving) of water to the pan, season with salt.
- Bring the sauce to a boil, and add the pasta to it.
- Let the pasta cook in the sauce for 8-10 minutes, or until al dente.
Finishing the pasta
- Turn off the heat, and stir in the grated parmesan into the cooked pasta.
- Top it with the sliced basil leaves and serve hot.
